AVL Jakarta Office AVL, the world’s largest privately owned company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains (hybrid, combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and software) for passenger cars, trucks and large engines, has an immediate opening for its Jakarta office for the following position:

SERVICE AND COMISSIONING ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:
Service and commissioning for automotive test systems, R&D Engine test bed automation, measuring instruments and emission test system. The work will be mainly in Jakarta but can be in ASEAN countries, too.

Qualifications:

• Indonesian national
• Min. bachelor degree (S-1) in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation and Control system, or similar
• Min. 5 years experience in service or commissioning, broad experience preferred rather than specialized knowledge
• Experience preferably with an international company, in the automotive industry or other industry
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Able to work independently, by user support oriented and be committed to customer satisfaction
• Strong analytical thinking and trouble shooting skills
• Must be able to work in a multicultural environment and able to travel abroad for long period
• Open minded, flexible and self-reliant
