Lowongan Kerja Public Policy Specialist – BANK DUNIA

The World Bank in Jakarta, through the multi-donor Decentralization Support Facility (DSF) that it administers, wishes to employ a Short-term Consultant for the position of Public Policy Specialist for Regional Management (RM) forums to support the Government of Indonesia in its efforts to strengthen inter-regional cooperation. The DSF is a government-led facility supported by eight donors and the World Bank whose principal purpose is to support the decentralization agenda of the Government of Indonesia, particularly as this pertains to improved service delivery for citizens.

Short Team Consultant
Public Policy Specialist for Regional Management Forums

Services will include:
·    Provide expert input to Bappenas (Deputy of Regional Autonomy) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (Dirjen PUM)
·    Conduct a preliminary assessment of the 10 RM forums across Indonesia;
·    Design a research methodology and conduct a qualitative assessment into six of the forums,
·    Draft a paper on key finding and recommendations;

General Requirements include:
·    Advanced university degree (S2 or higher) in a relevant discipline, such as public policy, public administration or economics;
·    At least ten years of work experience in regional development issues in Indonesia, including a strong background in quantitative research;
·    Familiarity with decentralization and regional autonomy policies and regulations, particularly related to inter-regional cooperation;
·    Experience working with national and regional agencies
