Myclimate, a Swiss foundation, is among the world leaders when it conies to voluntary carbon offsetting measures. myclimate is well-connected globally and is making a significant and innovative contribution to climate protection as well as sustainable development. To assist the objective and goal of myclimate in Indonesia, we are recruiting for the following position based in Jakarta:

Carbon Project Manager

Qualifications:
•    Technical, scientific and/or development aid background with sound business/commercial knowledge and experience
•    5-10 years working experience in energy or carbon market or development aid with strong focus on climate protection
•    Minimum 3 years of working experience in South East Asia
•    Familiar with Project Finance and Carbon Market, e.g. Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Gold Standard (GS)
•    Strong service orientation, strong negotiation skills
•    Sound language skills: Official SE Asian language (e.g. Bahasa Indonesia) and English
•    Willingness to travel
•    Self motivator and self organizer

Responsibilities: The role of the Project Manager is to develop the carbon offset projects business of myclimate in Indonesia and South East Asia including origination of projects, due diligence procedures, project portfolio management in close collaboration with the headquarter and representation of myclimate in the region.
